About the Author

 Joel N. Cooper is a computer professional who, if you haven’t figured it out yet, is kind of a dork. He loves Star Wars, board games, convertibles, peanut butter, his wife, and Jesus. And probably many other things.

Joel began writing poetry in his teenage years, shifted to short stories in his early twenties, and started his first novel at age of twenty-five. His novels are predominantly fantasy, with one true science fiction. He has also dabbled in Christian non-fiction.

Spaceman Steve and the Quest for the Awesome Artifact is Joel’s first published novel, and the fifth one he completed. Three more have been written since then, and perhaps more by now. If you’re not careful, he will publish the rest of them, too.
